Dear Doctor

Dear Doctor: I heard that you think you are God. Did you know that God is omniscient? That means that He knows everything. When another doctor said, “Let’s try this chemo on Bobby,” you said (picture a booming voice from Heaven), “That won’t work!” When the other doctor said, “This new protocol will be more effective than the previous ones,” you said, “It’s never been tried on sarcoma before, so it won’t work!” Doctor, did you realize that what you have given Bobby for the last eight months hasn’t worked AT ALL. Do you realize that trying something, anything, else might be what causes this thing to go into remission? (Loud booming voice again): “I won’t be held responsible for giving him something that won’t work!” I guess that because you are God, you would know, wouldn’t you? Don’t I remember hearing you say, “There’s nothing more we can do for him.” Hmmmm…. maybe you aren’t God after all.
